Thanks for your interest in my work! I’ve been a freelance writer and marketing leader for over two decades. My focus is on search engine optimization – writing for people first, search engines second (and now AI is also in the mix). I love crafting compelling stories around business-to-business products and the so-called “boring” stuff: technology, manufacturing, and business services.
Since 2007, I have been a full-time independent contractor and consultant through my company, Seven Oaks Consulting. I’ve written several novels and non-fiction books, magazine articles and columns, and hundreds of articles for companies worldwide. I also craft sales and marketing materials, as well as ghostwrite for executives.
I hold an M.S. in Direct and Interactive (Digital) Marketing from New YorK University and an M.A. in Writing for CUNY Queens College, as well as certifications in SEO and Technical SEO and Personal Branding. I currently serve as the Marketing and Branding Expert for the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.
